The fruits of the battle are beginning to emerge.
A couple of months ago, we had a tête-à-tête with M over food. We were challenging her attitude, not just eating itself. She would say that it was not good or she didn't like it before she ever tasted it. We wanted her to have a thankful heart and to understand that mommy and daddy won't give her bad things, just like her heavenly Father will not give her bad things.
Generally, all it takes now is to get the timer out and she'll eat her bites. Tonight I actually had to start the timer (1 minute for each year of her age), but she ate her bites before it elapsed, so we didn't need to go to discipline.
Thanks Lord for the victories you give us.
